Steve Rost is ITEAS Group’s “Chief Inspiration Officer.”
Steve started working in marketing and advertising before he graduated from high school!
Thirteen years ago, he launched his own qualitative marketing research, ideation and consulting firm, which includes a unique rural meeting and brainstorming facility on the outskirts of Greater Cincinnati. Previously he was a principal for Northlich, a prominent Cincinnati advertising agency, where he provided strategic counsel for a wide range of clients.
Steve has been involved in creativity, ideation and opportunity development programs for what amounts to a “Who’s Who” of marketing, including Procter & Gamble, Abbott Laboratories, Nationwide Insurance, the Kellogg Company, Kraft, Electrolux Home Care Products, Purina, Anheuser-Busch, Eli Lilly and Company, Johnson & Johnson, Shell/Pennzoil, Georgia-Pacific, and others.
His category experience includes consumer cleaning products and packaged food, foodservice products, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, health providers and health insurance, and industrial products. Steve is a graduate of Brown University. He earned his MBA from Miami University (Oxford, OH), where he also served as an instructor in the Farmer School of Business. When he’s not tilling for great new ideas, he is likely to be tending his farm in Southwest Ohio. It’s called Rostralia.
