Jim Melluish, “Creator of Remarkable Innovation Strategies,” is a marketer who is as comfortable scouring a spreadsheet as writing new-to-the-world concepts.
He loves uncovering new opportunities and bringing them to life. He has 20 years in the trenches at top CPG companies, like Kellogg and Pillsbury, with stints in eight different categories on big brands, niche brands, new brands, and licensed brands – you name it – all with their own unique targets, consumer propositions, and business challenges.
As an innovator, Jim’s led new product development teams, commercialized new category entries, developed Innovation portfolio strategies, led white space explorations, and fostered many external and enterprise-wide collaboration opportunities.
Jim’s recent experience also includes working in the packaging industry, as an on-site consultant with glass manufacturer Owens-Illinois, and as a client consultant for Imaginatik, a leading Innovation software platform provider.
He’s a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and has an MBA from the University of Michigan. Jim is on the board of his local community theatre and enjoys home brewing (he grows his own hops) and “competitive barbeque” (Raw, Raw, Raw)!
